His arm not holding the drink instinctively cranes around her chair as he leans into the conversation- a response to the look-over she gave him, if we had to attribute it to something specific. He’s not thinking that far into it; just engaged in the moment. ]
Handel actually is my favorite. When I was young he was rather popular, especially his being from Britain. There weren’t many “big” names in his genres from that side of Europe.
